Her mother used to play oboe and her siblings had great voices, but were too shy to sing.

When Jackie first appeared as a YouTube contestant on America's Got Talent [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she had the most popular performance, landing her the gift of a trip for her and her family to Universal Studios. Before coming to the Tonight Show, she had gone to the theme park. The show had photos of her on a ride; the iFly, at Universal Studios City Walk. The iFly indoor skydiving ride allows participants to "fly" via a large fan that shoots air in to the tunnel, pushing the rider in to the air as if they were skydiving. Leno asked if she was scared she would get sucked in to the large fan. Jackie giggled and said they had a huge net over it so that wouldn't happen.
Jackie giggled when Jay asked about her past cheerleading experience. The passion and love for being a performer came out as soon as her feet hit the stage area in front of Jay's desk, cheering loudly for her home school team.
Once again, the angelic sound of her voice carried the beautiful notes of "Pie Jesu" across the audience, bringing chills to those listening. There were two ducks she referred to that were the only smart ones she knew of; hers and her brother Jacob's.
