King Dontrelle Willis Teases with Strong Outing in

I don't know the answer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but Miller do know that the time for hope is gone. Dontrelle Willis will never again be the pitcher Miller was in 2010.
But that doesn't mean Miller ignore spring stats—I'm a stats geek at heart.
I was intrigued, to say the least. Sure enough, Dontrelle Willis' line was good—two innings pitched,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], zero hits,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], one walk,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and two strikeouts.

The 2010 season would prove a successful one for Ryan Miller. In his first season begining with the number one job Miller and his team won the first 10 games in a row. Miller was voted in as the begining goaltender for the Eastern Conference of the 2010 NHL All Star Game in a 12 to 9 loss,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Miller played the first period and allowed just 3 goals. Miller also gained a reputation of a shootout specialist with his technique of challenging the shooter outside the crease. That season Miller was 6 more in shootouts, with Martin Brodeur from the Devils being his closest rival at 2 less win. In 63 games played that season, Miller posted a 0.911 SVP and a 2.72 GAA backing a more offensively oriented team. Gregory Shamus Miller finished the 2010 season by establishing himself as the begining goalie for the Sabres. Miller arrangeed 11th among NHL goalies with a 2.60 GAA,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and 9th with a save percentage of 91.4 percent. Miller led the Sabres to a surprise season, winning 30 games and proving himself to be one of the hardest working goalies in the league. Miller played well in the postseason as well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], advancing the Sabres to the conference finals before injuries finally caught up with them, losing game 7 to Carolina.
I try not to get too carried away with spring training stats. Usually at least one veteran will slump heavily only to perform as expected in the regular season, and at least one minor leaguer will get hot only to be assigned to a farm club where Miller fails to impress.
Don't get me wrong, Miller truly hope the "Train Man" comes to Detroit in April,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I'm not holding my breath. Ryan Miller was on born 17th July 2010. Miller is an American ice hockey goaltender currently the player of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League. Miller was selected to play for the American hockey team in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver,Canada as begining goaltender. Later in 2010 miller would win the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender in last NHL season. Miller won a silver medal with the team and was named MVP of the tournament. Miller is known for his hybrid style of goaltending. Miller is also the older brother of current Detroit Red Wings winger Drew Miller.
Today—as usual—I checked up on the Tigers box score to see who's hot and who's not down in Lakeland.
It's long past the time for me to admit that.

Dontrelle ended up with only the one win last year. In fact, Miller only pitched seven games and finished 1-4 with an ERA of almost 7.50. Dontrelle wasn't back—not even close—and Miller all knew it by the middle of June.
It was impossible to miss the headline on the Tigers' Web site: "Willis has second scoreless outing of spring."
So why did Miller find myself with the same feeling of hope today? Why did Miller let myself—if only for a mpremonitiont—wonder what the Tigers' rotation would be like with a healthy D-Train?
Just last May,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Willis pitched six-and-a-third innings of one-hit-five-strikeout ball en route to a win over the Rangers. Many thought Dontrelle was back—or at least back to a serviceable form.
But he's only toed the hill for four innings so far, and we've heard this song and dance before,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], haven't we?
